CRS score calculator

Estimate a Comprehensive Ranking System score with the Labour Market Integration factor that takes effect on November 3, 2026, and read it next to the grid in force today.

Examples are worked profiles for the IRCC tables, not official IRCC samples. Your entries stay in this browser.

01Who is applying

Use the age IRCC would use on the day the profile is scored. Ages 20 to 29 score the maximum. 17 or under, and 45 or over, score 0 for age.

02Education

For study outside Canada, choose the level that matches your educational credential assessment.

Separate from the education points above. A one- or two-year credential is 15 points. A program of three years or longer is 30, and so is a Canadian master's, professional degree, or doctorate even when the program is shorter. This tool does not check the study-in-Canada conditions.

04Work and the November 2026 factor

Qualifying work in TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3, usually in the last 10 years. One year is 12 months or 1,560 hours. Count full-time work, or the part-time equivalent. If two jobs overlapped, do not count more than 30 hours in the same week.

These points sit on top of the length points, then the calculator keeps whichever is higher: that Canadian-work total, or the job offer.

Length is under one year, so high-wage experience points are 0.

From November 3, 2026, only an offer in a listed high-wage occupation scores points. An LMIA is not required and does not add points. A job outside the list can still matter for Federal Skilled Worker or Federal Skilled Trades eligibility. This tool does not assess eligibility.

186 occupations transcribed on October 26, 2026. A code that is not listed here is not given a level by this tool.

Skilled work outside Canada. One or two years share a band. Three years or more is the top band.

05Additional points

French additional points come from the language section. NCLC 7 or higher on all four French abilities is 25 points. CLB 5 or higher on all four English abilities adds 25 more, for 50. A missing English test, English at CLB 4 or lower, or a mix of English abilities keeps the first 25.

What this calculator changes

Until November 3, 2026, Canadian work experience is a core factor and a job offer does not add CRS points. On that date, IRCC scores Canadian work experience inside a new factor instead. Length points stay the same. High-wage experience can add 20, 40, or 70 points. A qualifying high-wage job offer can add 50, 70, or 100. You receive the higher of those two results, not both.

The score panel shows the arithmetic: current total, minus the core Canadian-work points, plus the new award. Skill transferability, age, education, language, spouse factors, and the other additional points stay on the published grid. Read the November 2026 changes or the methodology.

This is an unofficial estimate for people comparing the two grids. It does not submit an Express Entry profile, and it does not tell you whether you are eligible for a program.
